ALTERNATIVE OPERATION ARRANGEMENT OF DOUBLE LEAF DOORSETS
SINGLE LEAF FUNCTION
The doorset remains closed. The active leaf can be opened with the use of a lever handle or push bar and retracted to the closed position by a door closer. The in-active leaf remains shut with the use of upper and lower mechanic bolts. The lock of the inactive leaf may be of standard or anti-panic type. A sequence control selector is not required.
DOUBLE LEAF FUNCTION
The doorset remains closed. Both leaves can be opened with the use of lever handles or push bars and retracted to the closed position by door closers. The lock must have a panic function and automatic retraction of the flush bolts. A sequence control selector is required.
DOUBLE LEAF FUNCTION WITH HOLD-OPEN
As in case 2 but both leaves are held open by electromagnetic units externally mounted (at the floor or wall) or integrated in the door closers. In both cases electric cables must be provided and linked to the fire/smoke detection system for automatic closing of the door leaves in case of fire.
